This list is one of the reasons why I think that architecture has lost its way a little bit... there's nothing here that really supports human habitation and satisfying experience. I know that someone has to be responsible for designing the interface and housings for the emergency generators; but if that's what architects become known for, if that's the reason why the profession exists, then it really IS going to be swallowed up by the engineers and contractors.

I agree with you, it seems like that there are other forces which are directing the path of the profession which the profession as a whole must get a hold of. I know that profit drives most firms, but when it becomes the main driving force for the firm, then the profession is lost another group of souls. I have now completed the entire tasks listed and it’s now time for me.
